JL Audio applied all their design know-how to creating the 12TW1-2 subwoofer. This shallow-mount 12″ sub works in very small enclosures and, with a mounting depth of only 4-3/8 inches, it’ll fit in all kinds of tight places you don’t expect a subwoofer to go.

Unique construction, built in the USA

The injection-molded mica-filled polypropylene cone with its rubber surround is housed in a specially designed cast-alloy frame that minimizes resonances. JL Audio builds this sub at their Florida factory, using their patented “concentric tube” design to compress the sub’s motor structure for a smaller profile without sacrificing performance.

You can mount this sub right up against the back wall of your enclosure and it requires almost no clearance in front. If you’re looking for a subwoofer that brings maximum boom to minimal space, you’re looking in the right place.
